| Pinegrovian Smashes a Ton in U-19 Inter District Cricket Tournament | | |

Solan, Sept 18: Yerik Gauri of Pinegrove School, Dharampur scores his maiden century before being bowled out for an impressive 112 runs in his debut test match in the U-19 Inter District Cricket Tournament for men being held at Una.
In the first inning of the test he was 79 not out at the end of Day - 2 play.
He continued his knock on Day- 3 with the same flamboyance and went on to make a rocksolid inning of 112 run to consolidate Solan team’s position which had lost some early wickets.
His knock of 112 was inclusive of 20 boundaries.
He also contributed with the ball maintaining a tight line and length and claimed one wicket by conceeding just 35 runs in his allotted 9 overs.
It is important to note that Yerik is a product of Pinegrove School, Solan HP a CBSE affiliated, co-educational, fully-residential, English medium school which is well known for imparting quality education to its pupils in the country. |
