| Cong crossing limits of dignity by repeatedly demeaning Prez Murmu: Kavinder | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 6: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta on Thursday slammed Congress party for repeatedly humiliating President Droupadi Murmu by using objectionable remarks and sought immediate public apology from party's leader Udit Raj for demeaning the top coveted post of the country.
In a statement issued to the media persons, Kavinder said that Congress leaders have crossed all the limits of dignity by again and again demeaning President Droupadi Murmu by stooping to the lowest level of indecency and showing the country the party's anti-tribal mindset.
The senior BJP leader said that this is not the first case when a senior Congress leader has insulted the President of India because some time back Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury had also made objectionable statements against the President. These comments by Congress leaders reflect the party's anti-tribal mindset, which is detrimental for the country which holds a significant tribal population spread across the length and breadth of India. He said that the Congress party's problem is known to all and that is why a tribal woman is heading the country.
The BJP stalwart leader maintained that he has no words to condemn the unwarranted behaviour of the Congress leaders because in today's modern world, this kind of cheap mindset rarely comes to fore and the people with such a mentality should be declared insane as civilized society will never accept such a behaviour against a woman and that too a tribal. |
