| GDC Thannamandi organizes an awareness programme on sveep | | |  Early Times Report
Thanamandi, Oct 13: Govt. Degree College Thannamandi in Collaboration with Tehsil Administration Thannamandi organized an awareness programme on Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP). Prof. Raheela Mushtaq IQAC Coordinator welcomed the guests and other participants. The programme was presided over by the Principal of the College, Prof. (Dr.) Farooq Ahmed and in his presidential address he advised the students to work as ambassador for the transmission of message under SVEEP to every individual of the society for maximum participation in electoral process. In this connection a Pahari Geet and Nukad Natak was presented by the famous artist of Pirpanjal Master Kartar Chand and his team. On this occasion Tehsildar Thannamandi Syed Sahil Ali Shah presented an elaborative talk regarding the directives of Election Commission of India to aware and motivate the young people for participation in Democratic Process and advised the students to get themselves enrolled in the Voter list who have attained the age of 18 years on 1st October 2022.
The programme was attended by large number of students, teaching and non teaching staff members. The proceeding of the program was conducted by Muzaffer Lone and the vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Athar Aziz Raina.
