Certainly, performing 2000 robot-assisted surgeries is another feather in the cap for Dr. Singh. The event was graced by Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar (Cabinet Minister of Local Govt., Parliamentary Affairs, Punjab) as the Chief Guest. Moreover, Dr. Ajay Gupta (MLA, Amritsar Central) and Hockey Legend Brigadier Harcharan Singh arrived as Guests of Honour. Speaking with the guests, Dr. Avtar Singh said, “This achievement is not just about numbers, but the lives we have changed and the pain we have alleviated with our technology.” He added, “Next-generation robotics technology is an innovative tool that allows us to improve patient outcomes and reduce complications significantly. The recovery time is also faster as compared to traditional treatment methods.” It’s worth noting that Amandeep Hospital is one of the region's largest healthcare centres for orthopaedic surgery.
