| SD Tara Puri School celebrates Diwali | | |

Jammu, Oct 22: S.D Tara Puri Public High School, Gandhi Nagar celebrated clean and green diwali in the school premises with festive gusto. It was celebrated with devotion and relogious zeal. Earthern pots, diyas, candles, paper lantens, rangoli, best out of waste creations adoring the corridor of the school. Students decorated the school premises with the helop of the teachers. Many activities were held in the school.
The day was started with a special morning assembly. Students delivered speeches on the significance of the festival.
The children were dressed up in different characters from Ramayana. The functions ended with a speech by the Secretary Sir Sh. N.D Sharma, expressed his deep concern about the celebration and advised the students to celebrate Green Diwali. Principal Ms. Neeru Puri appreciated and lauded the efforts of students and teachers of Vivekanand house who organised the programme. All the dignitaries of Management Committee members were also present on the occasion. |
