Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, Oct 27: 03 days training programme on "Gender Sensitization for Police personnel" sponsored by National Commission for Women (NCW) New Delhi commenced at S.K. Police Academy Udhampur. 25 Police officers/officials from all over J&K are participating in the training programme. Mohan Lal, JKPS, SSP, Dy. Director (Indoor/Trainings) SKPA Udhampur formally inaugurated the course. In his inaugural address Mohan Lal, JKPS, SSP, welcomed all the course participants on behalf of Director SKPA. He pointed out that gender inequality to be addressed is the crux of the course, why women feel insecure. The course is designed to accommodate skills and knowledge of legal provisions & latest amendments in dealing with crime against women including JJ Act, IT Act, etc. and Cyber space. The eminent speakers from Academia and renowned Cyber Forensic experts shall deliver lectures during the course. The audience was informed that organizing such courses is the endeavour of worthy DGP J&K and Director SKPA, Udhampur. The inaugural session was also attended by Pawan Kumar, SP, SKPA, Sunmati Gupta, Asstt. Director (Q) & Sukhvir Singh, Asstt. Director (Administration) SKPA, Udhampur.
