| GDC Thannamandi Clinches 02 Awards in National Seminar at University of Jammu | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 6: Three students from Department of Botany, Government Degree College, Thannamandi participated in two days’ National Seminar on the topic “Plant and Microbial Sciences: Achievements and Way Forward” at University of Jammu in which Adnan Aquib, a student of B. Sc Semester 3rd of the College clinched 2nd Award for best oral presentation and Miss Rebab Javaid, a student of Semester 5th of the college begged 3rd best poster presentation award. Ishrat Javaid, a student of 6th Semester, also participated in oral presentation for which she got appreciation from the audience and eminent personalities of the university.
This programme was sponsored by UGC-SAP DRS II. The principal of the college Dr. Farooq Ahmed congratulated Dr. Tajinder Singh, Head, Department of Botany and his team of students for this achievement.
He appreciated the efforts put in by Dr. Singh for making this happen. He said this is a really a proud moment for the college. |
