AAP State Manifesto Committee holds meeting | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 14: The State Manifesto Drafting committee Aam Aadmi Party J&K held a meeting here in Party office Gandhi Nagar and deliberated at length about the nature of state Manifesto of AAP for both Jammu & Kashmir in view of diverse nature socio-political nature of both the regions in respect of language, living conditions, political temperament, social rites & rituals, weather conditions & behavior of wearing clothes, marriage & other social customs, habitation of various ethnic groups, tribes & communities with different religions & sects, different festivals and local aspirations etc. The meeting was held under the President ship of S. Deep Singh, Founder & National Council Member & the Chairman of the Committee and attended by distinguished Members of the Committee Major General Rtd, Rajinder Singh Jamwal, Satish Sharma, IRS, commissioner/Secretary Rtd. Ram Singh Chauhan , District officer Rtd. & noted social activist & Kuldeep Kumar Rao. During the deliberations, it was unanimously taken care of, the aspirations & political mood of people of both the regions in view of diverse nature of needs & aspirations of people and all sections of society. It was also affirmed that as per policy of AAP, it is imperative to have a and reach at consensus with the office bearers of the Party together with thinkers, Professors, Advocates and knowledgeable people & youths of both the Regions. The meeting noted that Jammu Division is sparsely scattered vast area comprising of 10 administrative Districts, 66 CD Blocks, 813 Patwar Halqas, 126 Niabats 37 Tehsils and 11 Sub-Divisions, and area of around 26,293 sq.kms, with multilingual ethnic groups, tribes, communities and living conditions with natural weather conditions & hence have different social & economical aspirations, thus need a manifesto or a public declaration to suit the hopes of all sections of society. Expressing great satisfaction over the verdict passed by Court granting bail to Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Ravat after 103 days of detention of a fake under Prevention of Money laundering Act, the Court passed serious strictures against ED that the case was framed primarily to detain the leader deliberately under the law without any merit. The release noted that it is a matter of great shame for the law enforcing agency in framing fake cases against the opponents to silence the voices of opposition under coercion & threat of CBI/ ED, the release pointed out. |
