Children's Day celebrations at SIPS | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 14: A spellbinding morning assembly was organised in the premises of Stephens International Public School to commemorate the birth anniversary of our first Prime Minister Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru which is fondly celebrated as Children's Day. The teaching fraternity of the school recited the prayer followed by a short speech about the vitality of the day. The students were in awe to witness their teachers perform an array of recreation which comprised of hilarious enactment, foot tapping dance, mimicry etc. The Director Satvinder Saini and the Trustee Kunal Saini and Principal Rama Jamwal extended their hearty greetings to the lovely children and wished them luck. Dr. Kaajal Bhasin, Vice Principal stated "Children are the world's most valuable resource and its best hope for the future." Later a Baal Mela was organised exclusively for the SIPSians wherein children relished their favourite snacks, sweets and candies. Headmistress Shweta Bakshi extended the vote of thanks. The staff was highly appreciated for presenting a wonderful show. The entire day was flooded with fun and frolic.
