World looks towards India
11/20/2022 10:16:25 PM
While addressing the concluding session of the third ‘No Money for Terror’ Ministerial Conference on Counter-Terrorism Financing, Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, reiterated that no country can defeat terrorism on its own.
He called for global action against the menace of terrorism and reminded the world that terrorism stands in the way of democracy, human rights, economic development, and world peace.
During the past few years the international community has realized that the terrorism has turned into a monster and is out to devour the entire world.
After Narendra Modi took over as the Prime Minister of India in 2014, he minced no words to send a message to terrorists and the countries sponsoring terror that India won’t tolerate any nonsense. And anyone who tries to cast an evil eye towards India will be given a befitting reply. Since the day Modi has taken over the reins of the country, he has acted tough against terrorism and Pakistan, which has been bleeding India for the past so many years by sending the terrorists to create disturbance and vitiate peace. The recently concluded conference on ministerial conference ‘No Money for Terror’ was a grim reminder to all the countries sponsoring terror that the nations who make terrorism as a part of their state policy have no place in the civilized world. India has seen a dark face of terror and world took a serious note of it after the terrorists turned their guns towards the international community.
In the recent times, the terrorism has evolved in different names and forms. It has been targeting developing countries. Thousands of people have lost their lives to senseless acts of terror. India has fought the terrorism bravely and has foiled their nefarious designs every now and then.
India’s fight against terrorism has set a benchmark for the entire world. India has taught the international community, how the terrorists can be defeated. The delegates of more than 75 countries assembling in New Delhi to discuss how to break the backbone of terror and lauding India for its efforts against terrorism are an ample proof of the fact that world is looking towards India to end the scourge of terrorism.
