Jammu, Nov 20: Samba Police arrested two snatchers within 24 hrs and recovered stolen wallet containing cash and ATM cards in the jurisdiction of PS Bari Brahmana.
On 19.11.2022, a written complaint was lodged at P/S Bari-Brahmana by a resident of District Kathua stating therein that 02 unknown persons has snatched his wallet containing cash and 02 ATM cards, etc. near SIDCO chowk, Bari-Brahmana.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR No. 215/2022 U/S 382 IPC was registered at PS Bari-Brahmana and investigation was started.
Accordingly, a Police team of PS Bari-Brahmana after arduous efforts succeeded in the arrest of two accused persons namely
1) Arif Ahmed Dar S/o Habib Ullah Dar R/o Parimpora District Srinagar.
2) Vikas Chouhan S/o Kaka Ram R/o Bhagwati Nagar Jammu.
On the disclosure of accused persons, stolen wallet having cash and 02 ATM cards was recovered. Further investigation is going on.
