| Govt College for Women organises Alumni meet | | |

Jammu, Dec 10: The Govt. College for Women Parade Ground organised its Annual Alumnae Meet on 10th of December 2022, in the College campus. A large number of alumnae attended the event to relive the college years and reconnect with their alma mater. The meet was organised by the alumnae committee of the college under the patronship of the worthy Principal of the college, Dr. S.P Sarswat and guidance of the convener of the committee Prof Samriti Manchanda. The event began with the Sarswati Vandana presented by the students of the music department followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp.
A warm welcome was given to the dignitaries present by the worthy Principal of the College Dr. S.P Sarswat. A scintillating musical performance was given by the students of the music department followed by some games co-ordinated by Dr. Jyoti Behl to lighten the atmosphere. Many illustrious alumnae participated in the event and shared their views on various topics as it was a platform for rekindling of anecdotes of remarkable journeys, poignant stories and interactive sessions.
Many of them volunteered to render services for the benefit of the current students of the college.
The event was filled with nostalgia as former students relived their college memories. It was an equally nostalgic and proud moment for the faculty members as well. The event ended with a formal Vote of Thanks by Dr. Gurpreet Kour with a promise to come together again and relive the moments of College time. |
