| Employees in Surankote appeal for the restoration of old pension scheme | | |

Surankote, Dec 11: A meeting of TJAC Surankote was organized here in MS Sanai regarding the implementation of Old Pension Scheme for NPS employees. Meeting was presided over by Sayed Mohd yousaf Shah, zonal president TJAC Surankote. A Large number of teachers registered their protest and made a sincere appeal to the worthy PM of the country and LG of the UT administraion to implement the OPS for all the employees recruited after Jan-2010.
It's pertinent to mention that only recently Some states have Scrapped the NPS and restored OPS for all the employees . Since Nation is one pension scheme should also be Uniform for all the employees throughout the country.It's quite unfortunate that after rendering the crucial service of Youthfull years for 60 years, NPS employees are retired without a reasonable financial security and direly needed pension to feed their dependants in extreme old age. This is a sheer injustice with those employees who have devoted all their energetic and youthfull years to the service of the country and finally are rendered insecure and uncertain. |
