DC presides over weekly Block Diwas at Panchayat Kolsar

REASI, Dec 14: Deputy Commissioner, Reasi, Babila Rakwal today visited panchayat Kolsar in Block Pouni and listened to the public issues and demands at the weekly Block Diwas program.
The PRIs members including general public of adjoining panchayats put forth their issues and sought establishment of Sub Centre in village Ghan, Up-gradation of Middle to High School, Land Compensation, proposal of Khul at Kolsar, Providing transport facility from Kolsar to Reasi, Shortage of Teaching staff, measures to end Monkey menace, Clearance of pending salary of Anganwadi workers, Maintenance & Completion of boundary wall of School buildings etc .
The PRI members as well as the general public of the area hailed the efforts of district administration for organising awareness camps regarding inheritance mutation and other camps.
The DC laid emphasis on effective implementation of Central Sponsored Schemes and timely execution of UT Capex budget works to benefit the general public. "The departments need to put in extra efforts to ensure that the benefits reach to end users in a more transparent and efficient manner," the DC said.
The ZEO was directed to rationalize staff in all the schools of Block Pouni, besides XEN PDD was directed to electrify the left over households in the block area.
The Horticulture department was asked to organise panchayat wise awareness camps for the welfare of the farming community of the area. The DDC directed the PHE department to gear up men & machinery of all JJM works to complete the same in the stipulated time frame.
Among others, ADDC Jyoti Salathia, ACD Anirudh Rai, CHO Brij Vallabh, CMO, CAHO, LMO, BDO and other district and sectoral officers were present.
