Amit directs for spot redressal of public grievances at B2V4 Review Meet

Jammu, Dec 25: Amit Sharma, Secretary Mining J&K Government, who is mentoring Smailpur Panchayat under B2V4 Programme, conducted a review meeting-cum-camp at Panchayat Ghar, Smailpur in Bari Brahmana Block wherein spot directions were given by him to address all genuine grievances of the residents of the Panchayat. This public outreach camp at Smailpur was led by Amit Sharma in the presence of a large gathering of Smailpur local residents wherein Sarpanch B.S Manhas, other Panches of the Panchayat, Block Development Officer Bari Brahmana Suraj Singh, ZEO Purmandal, ZEPO Purmandal, BMO and many other officers of the block participated.
Secretary Mining Amit Sharma initially took a review on the progress of the decisions arrived at in the last B2V4 Meeting held here and the Panchayat Members expressed deep gratitude towards visiting Prabhari officer for ensuring initiation of a long pending Drainage Work here due to which a long persisting issue of water logging in main chowk of Smailpur has been resolved permanently.
Apart from this, during his address, Amit Sharma cautioned public against the re-emergence of Covid threat and told them to take best precautionary measures especially following social distancing norms and using masks in crowded places. Further, he also advised them to avail all public services online through the help of CSC Centres and directly avail services of all departments without visiting Government offices for it and submission of RAS Feedback after availing them.
Mining Secretary Amit Sharma listened to fresh grievances and issues of the public relating to PHE, PDD, Rural Development, Agriculture and Youth Services and Sports and told officers to redress them in a time bound manner. Before leaving, Amit assured public that these Public Outreach Programmes shall be a regular feature now onwards and he warmly wished residents of Smailpur, a prosperous new year ahead with the resolution to make Smailpur, a Model Panchayat in the Union Territory of J&K in times to come.
