SRINAGAR, Dec 28: A 72-year-old under trial prisoner who was lodged in district jail Kupwara in north Kashmir died on Wednesday, police said.
The elderly prisoner identified as Mohammad Maqbool, a resident of Kakroosa Vilgam lodged in district jail since August 10, 2022 was shifted to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Kupwara for treatment where he died. One under trial prisoner namely Mohammad Maqbool Khan S/o Abdul Gaffar Khan R/o Kakroosa Vilgam age 72 years lodged in District Jail Kupwara u/s 306, 109 IPC since 10/08/2022 brought to SDH Kupwara for treatment where he died?, a police in a tweet. |
