JKCCA committed to Promote Art & Culture: O P Sharma | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 30: O P Sharma Founder Director, Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu has emphasized on promotion of Art & Culture through its various endeavours undertaken by JKCCA. In the recent times JKCCA has voluntarily offerred to train Ritika Verma, a student of Govt. Higher secondary School, Nud (Distt. Samba) who is the first position holder in visual arts (3- D: Sculpture) in the UT level competation organised by Directorate of Samagra Siksha Abhiyan, Jammu, so that she brings laurels to the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir by her best performance during the National level Visual Art (3- D: Sculpture) Competiotion being organized at Bhuvneshwar during the coming weeks. In this regard JKCCA has made arrangement of training Ritika Verma under the guidance of eminent senior sculptor of J&K (UT) Ganesh Sharma hailing from Hiranagar (Kathua) with his able guidance in respect of academics as well as technical aspects of handling the visual art (3- D: Sculpture). JKCCA has already trained Pari Mughda Nischal, a top position holder in the same competition last year, and who had got position at national level also. |
