POONCH, Dec 31: On the direction of Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet, Geology and Mining Department conducted a number of raids in the district and seized 9 vehicles including a heavy excavator.
The Vehicles were seized by a team of the Mining and Geology department led by District Mining Officer, Javid Iqbal.
The team raised nakas at different locations including, Jhulas, Potha, Khari, Drungali, Dundak and Sukha-Katha. The team also dismantled two paths used for illegal mining and also requested people not involved in illegal mining. |
