Jammu, Dec 31: IWC Jammu Tawi pay tributes to Bal Veers. India is the country of braves. Stories from saga of bravery and Sacrifices of our soldiers has no parallel in the world history. Veer Bal Diwas is a tribute to our brave hearts, who chose death but never gave up their faith and values. We have so many Underprivileged children, who require support of the society. As a tribute to Char Sahibjadas, members of IWC, Jammu Tawi decided to bring smile on the faces of orphans children at Digiana Ashram. Under the President Ms Paramjit Kaur, 7 members organized a programme at Orphanage at Digiana Ashram. They are of firm belief that the children require a positive environment given correct guidance, the children from poor background can achieve impossible. Keeping in view the harsh winters, 14 Children were presented with Thermal wear, Shoes, Socks and healthy refreshment. It was a treat to see the smile on the face of these children, who were happy that someone from society cares for them. The children surprised the members with their talent of music by reciting Shabads from Gurbani. To give them a sense of belongingness, the members spent the whole afternoon with children, giving them Opportunity to communicate on various subjects. Motivational talk was delivered to them, to raise their confidence and morale. Mahant Manjit Singh offered prayers in the Ardas and blessed the members of IWC. The event was supported by Shyama Kaul, Dr Paramjit Kaur, Minakashi Gupta, Veena Bhandari, Ginni Chadda, Sumesh Kour, Jasneet Kaur, Sunita Anand, Jaswant Kour, Charanjit Kour, Kamal Sudan. Ms Gurvinder Kaur and Nidhi Mahajan also attended the event. The members felt elated on welcoming 2023, by spending last day of the year 2022 with Underprivileged children. |
