HM's visit bolstered people's faith, lifted morale of BJP cadre: Kavinder
1/13/2023 10:30:06 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 13: Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister on Friday said that Home Minister Amit Shah's visit to Jammu and interaction with the families (telephonically) affected with recent twin terror attacks has bolstered the faith of people in the government while boosting the morale of the party cadre.
The BJP stalwart was speaking during the Lohri celebration function held here at Gangyal. The Lohri celebration function was organized by Baldev Singh Billawaria, Deputy Mayor Jammu.
Kavinder stressed on the significance of celebrating festivals at community level. He said the unity among diversity is India's unique characteristics and to maintain the same it becomes imperative for people to celebrate festivals collectively.
Asking the people to be wary of the divisive forces which are hell-bent to vitiate peace, the senior BJP functionary said that the need of time is to corner the divisive forces in the UT of J&K as they wanted to create fissures among the groups of people to satiate their petty political interests.
Kavinder also asked the party cadre to start disseminating the information about BJP's policies and plans among the masses as the poll to elect Assembly is on cards and the time left is so little. He said that ground level workers are the real ambassadors of the party and they can do wonders by remaining proactive on ground. He said that to make the next chief minister in J&K from the party the cadre has to work real hard and it is advisable that the activists should do the same from today itself.
The former deputy Chief Minister also asked the people not to get misled by the political parties which are offering moon and stars because it is the BJP only which has made possible the things in J&K which the other parties used to call impossible like scrapping of Article 370 and Article 35A, silencing guns along the LoC and limiting China well within its territory.
