Rajouri attack: Terrorists used mobile phones of some villagers | Women among 50 detained for questioning to get a clue about terrorists | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 18: Investigating agencies have identified some women who reportedly provided meals to the terrorists involved in the gruesome killings of seven civilians in twin-terror attacks in the Dhangri village of Rajouri on January 1 and January 2. Highly placed sources said that agencies are questioning these women to get a vital clue about the whereabouts of the terrorists. “In the month of December terrorists have reportedly used the mobile phone of a woman who has been detained by the investigating agencies”, sources said. Over 50 persons, including half a dozen women, have been detained for questioning over the killings of seven persons in the twin-terror attacks in Dhangri village. Earlier, the police said some vital leads have been secured in the investigation as some detained persons admitted having contact with terrorists during questioning. Reports said that the investigation of the terror attack is going in the right direction. So far, nearly 50 suspects, including some women, have been detained for questioning. Some vital leads have been found that suggest the presence of terrorists in some villages near Rajouri town. |
