Jammu, Feb 4: Honouring and appreciating the achievers with accolades, the Annual Prize Distribution cum Sports Day for session 2022-23 was held with great zeal and enthusiasm at APS Miran Sahib on 4thFeb’23 in the school ground.
The programme included a series of performances ranging fromGanesh Vandna, Yogic exercises, dumbbell exercises, aerobics, Bhangra and many more.
A galaxy of dignitaries graced the occasion. Col.Priyank Priyadarshi, CO 12JAK Rif was the Chief Guest.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, Principal and Co-ordinators.
The Annual School Report read by the Principal Mrs Ritu Sharma, brought to the fore, the achievements of the students and the Principal’s vision for the progress of the school.
The highlight of the programme was carrying of the athletic flame followed by the march past of all the four houses.
The Best House trophy for the session was won by Zorawar House in the Senior Wing and Somnath House, in Primary Wing.
The meritorious teachers of the school were also felicitated by the School Management in the occasion.
The Chief Guest, in his address lauded the efforts of the school students and staff for the enthralling function.
Overall, the celebrations concluded on a happy note, encouraging the students to establish further milestones in the journey of success. |
