SIPS bids adieu to class XII

JAMMU, Feb 11: Stephens International Public School bid a grand farewell to the outgoing class XII batch of 2022-2023 with great fervour and enthusiasm. The event was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers to reminisce the joyous moments. The Chairman Dr Kamal Saini IGP (retd), Director Satvinder Saini, and Trustee Kunal Saini presided over the programme. Principal Rama Jamwal, Vice Principal Kajal Bhasin, Headmistress Shweta Bakshi, wing coordinators and teachers were present on the occasion.
The lighting of the pious lamp marked the beginning of the function followed by the welcome address by the Principal, Rama Jamwal applauded the batch as being one of the brightest ones. She appreciated the efforts of the students for enthusiastically participating in varied competitions and raising the bar of perfection. She wished them luck to make a mark in the world outside.
The highlight of the function was the beautiful cultural presentation. The students of Class XI put forth an amalgamation of scintillating dance performances, melodious retro songs and pulsating Bhangra.
The members of the Head Council delivered speeches expressing gratitude to their mentors and teachers for their invaluable contribution in making the journey a memorable one.
The event further saw the crowning of Ridhi Tickoo and Amanpreet Singh as Miss Stephens and Mr Stephens titles. Title Mr Personality was accorded to Gurmanthan Singh whereas Sandeep Kour earned the title Miss Personality. This was followed by the cake cutting ceremony.
The Chairman of the institution Dr Kamal Saini IGP (Retd.) in his address contended that SIPS is a school where students are excelling in all fields like sports & cultural aspects apart from academics. He urged the students to keep the flag of SIPS flying high by keeping the ideals of honesty and truth learnt in the school.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Prateek Pandit (HOD English). A grand feast was also arranged for all the students and the staff.
