Jammu, Feb 11: In another initiative for improvement of academic and to strengthen the patient care services in GMC Jammu BSc paramedical 3 year degree courses in various department have been started viz B.Sc MLT B.SC Cardiac Care, B.SC Renal Dialysis, B.Sc Respiratory Care, B.SC Anesthesia, B.SC Operation Theatre Technology, B.SC Radiography and B.SC Neuroscience Technology. It is pertinent to mention that the first batch of B.SC paramedical was started in the year 2021 of more than 100 students in all the eight streams. At present four such batches are running smoothly in GMC Jammu. The University examination for 1st and 2nd year has already been held successfully. The meeting was chaired by Principal and Dean Dr Shashi Sudhan Sharma in which a brief presentation regarding the regulation and curriculum of B.SC Paramedical Courses was presented by Dr Rachna sabarwal Professor, Department of Biochemistry and incharge academics B.SC paramedical course. The meeting was attended by Dr Sunil Sachdev Professor and Head Department of Physiology and chairman B.SC paramedical courses HoDs of various departments. Dr. Seema Gupta (HOD, Pharmacology, Dr Subhash Bhardwaj (HoD Pathology), Dr. Sangeeta Gupta (HOD Anatomy), Dr. Rajiv Gupta (HOD PSM), Dr. Anju Jamwal (HOD Anesthesia), Dr. Rehana (Dy. MS), and coordinators of BSc Paramedical Courses-Dr. Harleen Kaur, Dr. Pallavi Mahajan, Dr. Gazzala Abbas, Dr Vinita, Dr Sonia jandial, Dr. Deepti Gupta,Dr Sharminder kaur, Dr Raju Bhandari, Dr. Vinod Katil, Dr Nasir Ali, Dr Nipun Saproo, Dr Sudhir, Dr Neha Sharma, Dr Sikander chirag to discuss the regulation and curriculum regarding B.SC Paramedical Courses. Dr Rachna Sabarwal interacted with all the HoDs and Coordinators from different streams and apprised them about the syllabus, pattern for examination, pattern of assessment and conduct of university examination. Principal & Dean Dr. Shashi Sudhan Sharma in her note congratulated all the HODs for imparting excellent training to eat branches of paramedical students, so as to produce the technicians/ paramedics par excellence. |
