Neither have we forgotten, nor forgiven: Raman
Tributes paid to Pulwama martyrs
2/14/2023 10:13:27 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 14: Paying rich tributes to the 40 soldiers of the Indian Army who laid down their lives for the nation on 19th February 2019 while serving in Kashmir, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K Executive Member Raman Suri said that the nation will always be indebted to their sacrifices. He said, cowards were those who carried out this attack on the soldiers travelling in an army truck.
Raman Suri said, the entire nation is standing with the families of these soldiers who sacrificed themselves. The Indian Army, civil administration, various organisations, corporate houses and even individuals are doing their bit to ensure that children and families of these martyrs get better education and facilities. This is nothing as compared to the sacrifices of those soldiers but the fact is that India is united in every cause and always stands by the heroes.
Raman Suri said, Pulwama attack was a Black Day for India. We pay our heartfelt tributes to the Martyrs of the Pulwama attack and ensure that sacrifices of these brave heroes will never be forgotten and the culprits who carried out this attack will never be forgiven.
Four years ago, this attack was executed on Pulwama highway when a terrorist driving a car detonated the blast near army truck, martyring our forty jawans. Raman Suri said that today militants are on the run and counting their last days. Peace has dawned in Kashmir and people too have realised that violence brought merely death and destruction for them wherein they lost their dear ones.
The Union Government's resolve to bring peace in Kashmir and wipe out militancy completely is turning into a reality. Today, massive development is taking over everything that destroyed Kashmir, he said, adding that the youth must also come forward and contribute to nation building by taking the benefits of various schemes of the government.
Majority of perpetrators of this attack, he said, have met their fate and were eliminated by our valiant soldiers. The remaining are also on the radar of our soldiers and will be killed as well. Some of their associates are also rotting in our jails, which is a lesson for those desirous of joining militant ranks that nothing is above law and no one can take on the mighty nation of India when it comes to defending our borders.
