| DGPC refutes allegations | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 3: S Ranjit Singh Tohra President DGPC Jammu along with S Balvinder Singh Vice President, S Surjit Singh Secretary, S Harjit Singh & S Gurmeet Singh Member DGPC Jammu today while other member of DGPC Jammu while addressing the Press conference stated that some miscreants are hell bent to degrade the image of elected members of DGPC Jammu either by one or other pretext and recently by circulating a edited poster depicting the picture of President S Ranjit Singh Tohra showing wearing the symbol of one political party and giving the impression that he has joined the political party and leading the community in the wrong direction and telling the Sangat that whole of DGPC Jammu members have sitted in the laps of politicians.
Balvinder Singh, S Surjit Singh and other members stated that though there is not any such provision in the J&K Gurudwara Management and Religious Endowement ACT 1973 which prohibits members of DGPC Jammu from joining any political party but as on date DGPC President Jammu has not joined any political Party and assured the Sangat that they shall put every effort sincerely to give their best for the better management of Gurudwaras and in resolving the sikh issue by remaining a political.
All present their also stated that they are going to file an FIR against those who are trying to defame the elected members by false propaganda.
