Govt to approach Interpol for catching terrorists operating from Pak, PoJK
3/3/2023 11:04:49 PM

Early Times Report

Jammu, Mar 3: After issuing non-bailable warrants against some terrorists operating from Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) the Union Government is going to take help from Interpol to get these terrorists backed.
Highly placed sources said that intelligence agencies are preparing lists of terrorists from J&K who are operating from Pakistan and PoJK. “Over 300 terrorists from J&K are operating from across the border”, sources said, and added that intelligence agencies are keeping a watch on the social media accounts of these terrorists. “Through their social media accounts these Pakistan and PoJK-based terrorists are trying to revive terrorism in J&K”, sources said, adding, “after collecting convincing evidence dossers will be prepared against these terrorists to approach the Interpol”.
Sources said that Union Government will approach Interpol to catch these terrorists only after collecting sufficient evidence about their presence in Pakistan and PoJK.
“Pakistan will be forced by the Interpol to hand over these terrorists to India”, sources said. Pointing towards the issuance of non-bailable warrants against 13 terrorists of Kishtwar, who are operating from PoJK and Pakistan, sources said a similar exercise will be adopted in all 20 districts of J&K. “It is just the beginning. Very soon non-bailable warrants will be issued against all terrorists operating from PoJK and Pakistan”, sources said. Interpol supports law enforcement officials in the field with emergency support and operational activities, especially in its priority crime areas of fugitives, public safety and terrorism, drugs and organized crime, trafficking in human beings, and financial and high-tech crime.
Pertinent to mention here that the special court of the National Investigation Agency (NIA), Jammu on Thursday issued non-bailable warrants against thirteen active terrorists of the Kishtwar districts of Jammu and Kashmir operating from Pakistan and PoJK.
