JAMMU, Mar 3: Today, health talk, poetry recitation and speech programs for women workers were organized by the women workers under the "International Women's Day" week, running from March 1 to March 8, as per the instructions of the Government of India at Salal Power Station. The program was inaugurated by Head of Salal Power Station J.C. Sarkar and women personnel by lighting the lamp . After that, the program started by presenting Saraswati Vandana by Mrs. RRTV Ramani. On this occasion, the Head of Power Station described educating women as a very important step and appealed everyone to educate at least one needy girl child. Apart from this, it is also worth mentioning that the said program was conducted and organized by women personnel only, in which poetry recitation, speech, experience story, motivational events etc. and especially Dr. Pooja Gupta, Sr. DCMO organized a "Health Talk" programme related to the health & hygiene of women..
In this program Purva Maini for her outstanding performance in the field of sports and Poonam Jha, Group Deputy General Manager (Electrical) for her excellent performance in the field of work, were honoured with certificate and a memento by Head of Salal Power Station
On this occasion, General Managers of Salal Power Station Jitendra Kumar, Satyawan, Dinesh Kumar, Deputy General Manager Sanjeev Kumar and Senior managers S.R. Gupta and Nitin Barahate were also present. The program ended with a vote of thanks to all by Poonam Jha, Group Deputy General Manager (Electrical). |
