| Civil Defence inaugurates training programme | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 6: On the directions of Directorate of HG, CD and SDRF J&K, Jammu, 05 days Civil Defence basic training programme was started at Halqa panchayat at Mandal. The programme was inaugurated by Dy.SP Anita Pawar Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. In the training program 150 Civilians including ladies of the border area are going to attend the CD basic training. The said training will be given by the Civil Defence Experts on the knowledge of First Aid, prevention, management and control of Fire Fighting, Snake bite, Choking and other basic life saving technique and preventive measures during the natural/ manmade disaster.
During the inaugural programme of the training, Dy.SP. Anita Pawar Deputy Controller Civil Defence delivered a lecture on Civil Defence Disaster Management and highlighted the role of Civil Defence and importance of this training in our daily life. Paramjit Kumar Chief Warden Civil Defence Jammu in his speech also highlighted the setup and the role of CD wardens in Civil Defence organization.
