SKUAST to organize first ever Cat Show

JAMMU, Mar 9: Faculty of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry, SKUAST Jammu, R. S. Pura is organizing Jammu's first ever Cat Show on 12th March, 2023 (Sunday) as a part of annual event Vet Fest 2023. The show is named "The Cat Walk". The show is being organised under the able guidance of Prof. Nazir Ahmad Ganai, Vice-Chancellor, SKUAST-Jammu and Prof. M.S. Bhadwal, Dean, F.V.Sc & A.H, SKUAST-Jammu. SKUAST Jammu organizes Livestock Show and Dog Show twice in the year for the benefit of livestock farmers and pet owners. This is the first time that a cat show is being organized by the Veterinary faculty said Prof. M.S. Bhadwal, Dean of the Faculty. This is a great opportunity for all cat lovers in Jammu to showcase their feline companions and compete with other participants. The show is going to witness a huge number of pet parents and pet lovers as informed by the Convener of the Show, Dr. R. K. Bhardwaj. The registration for participation by cat owners is open online on nominal fee till 11-03-2023. Apart from that, all the pet lovers can visit the campus and witness this show first time in their city. Different pet pharmaceutical and pet accessories companies will also be displaying and exhibiting their stalls during the cat show.
