Investiture Ceremony at Pinegrove School, Dharampur

JAMMU, Mar 9: The Student Council 2023-24, comprising 20 members, was announced by Head Teacher, Sanjay Chauhan at the Investiture Ceremony, conducted at Pinegrove School, Dharampur on 8th March 2023.
In a moving ceremony, the members of the Student Council 2022-23 handed over the charge and the flag to the present members, with reverence to the continuity of responsibility to uphold the highest standards within the school. The Pinegrove Student Council comprises the Head Boy, Head Girl, Prefects and Coordinators. They were formally inducted with badges by the Heads of the School. The pledge was conducted by the Head Boy of last year, Aryan Bakshi.
Pranjal Chahar, the new Head Girl and Aditya Raj Singh, the new Head Boy, took upon themselves the additional responsibility as Student Coordinators for MUN. Rajeshwari Mittal and Student Coordinator for Discipline, Deepak Thakur, are the new Sports Prefects.
Pearl Mahajan, Student Coordinator for Band and Harshit Gaur were declared as Chinar House Prefects. Divyansh Sarawgi, Student Coordinator for Oration and Avni Aggarwal were declared as Deodar House Prefects. Say Say Hangma Subba and Mehtaab Sandhu, also Student Coordinator for Band, were declared as Oak House Prefects while Jannat Kaur and Aakarsh Jawa also Student Coordinator for PA Management, were declared as Teak House Prefects.
Student Coordinators are tasked to various key areas of school functioning. Oration will additionally be looked after by Mouli Radha Singh, Publications by Abhayraj Singh and Rashim Kaur, Photography by Yuvraj Sharma, Stage events by Gyaneshwar Pujara and Pavni Juneja, Social Service by Prachi Gupta and Garbology by Harshvardhan Singh Billawria.
Executive Director, Capt. AJ Singh congratulated the new Student Council and encouraged among them, the undying spirit of zeal, teamwork and integrity as they pledged to take over their new responsibilities to the best of their burgeoning abilities.
