| Celebrated at govt GLDM Degree College Hiranagar on the theme "Embrance equity" | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 9: Govt GLDM Degree College Hiranagar celebrated International Women's day under the banner of G-20 and Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav. Dr. Pragya Khanna, the worthy principal was the Chief Guest of the Program. The Program was started with lightening of Traditional Lamp. Prof Rakesh Sharma HOD Hindi and Program Officer of NSS initiated the program with welcome address and spoke on the importance of International Women's day and counted the achievements of the great women of the India . Prof.Gurdyal also spoke on the occasion. The Worthy Principal congratulated all the faculty members and organisers on the occasion. All the Students who spoke on the theme "Embrace Equity" were Mansi Sharma, Sushil Rana and Manjeet. The Program was organised by Women Counseling Cell, Equal Opportunity Cell , GS- CASH Committee, Department of Hindi , Department of Sociology in collaboration with NSS Unit. Others who coordinated the Program were Prof Neha Bhagat HOD EVS, and Prof. Kamlesh Bala Assistant Professor of Geography. The program was ended with the Vote of Thanks by Dr. Davinder Kour HOD of Education and Convenor of Women Counseling Cell, Equal Opportunity Cell and GS CASH Committee. All the faculty members were present in the program. |
