LFO-BHF organises stationery distribution drive

JAMMU, Mar 12: For every human being, education is important to live an enriched life. Unfortunately, not everyone gets the privilege of good education early from their childhood. Mostly, financial disparities play a crucial role behind it. But, the situation can be improved. There are several ways to educate poor children and bring a positive change in our society. In an attempt to bring this positive change, Live For Others - Being Helpful Foundation (NGO) distributed stationery items and eatables to the kids enrolled under the initiative "MISSION MAKE" - Make All Kids Educated in a slum at Birma Pull, Udhampur supported by Talla Jewellers. Members of LFO-BHF are being educating less fortunate children for free of cost. It's been more than a year and counting that the volunteers of LFO-BHF committed in providing basic education and healthcare to underprivileged children.
Under Mission MAKE LFO-BHF today donated stationery kits which includes number of stationery items like Pencils, Rubbers, Sharpeners, Colours, Notebooks etc and some eatables likes maggie, biscuits, toffees, choclates among the needy children at Birma Pull.
On speaking with Vivek Parihar, Director & CEO of LFO-BHF said, "Our NGO is commited for education of underprivileged children who are under difficult circumstances, such as child labour, children of poor parents, street and runaway children, children with rare disabilities, disaster struck children and slum children. Special emphasis is given on girl education and women education, so that they and their families get empowered".
On speaking with Vishal Singh, Director & COO of LFO-BHF said, "Our vision is to work as a catalyst in bringing sustainable change in the lives of underprivileged children with a life-cycle approach to development". Other members who were present during the drive are Rimpi, Arun, Deewaker, Rohit and many more.
