| Nukkad natak on drugs abuse held | | |

REASI, Mar 19: Today a Nukkad natak on drug abuse performed by the Artist from Kathua on the theme “Drugs Abuse and Awareness” at Busstand Reasi under Civic action programme of jammu and Kashmir police.
The programme was inaugurated by ASP Reasi Master Popsy- JKPS in presence of DySP HQ Reasi Neeraj Padyar-JKPS and SHO Reasi Vijay sharma at Busstand Reasi. People from all walks of life witnessed the superb performance by the artist on different plays to aware people about ill effects of using drugs and how to stay away from it. Artist from Kathua were facilitated by the District Police officers after culmination of the event. In another programme under civic action programme, a subdivision level volleyball tournament was organised at indoor stadium Reasi where 04 different teams from Reasi subdivision takes part in the event.
The final match was played between Team Reasi and Team Salal.
In the final match of best among 5 team Salal beat team Reasi by 3-2, in tough competition.
Cash prize and trophies were distributed among the teams by DySP HQ Reasi and SHO Reasi. Huge gathering of youth witnesses the nail biting competition.
On the occasion SSP Reasi Sh Amit Gupta - JKPS said that Reasi police is committed to provide platform to the youth of district Reasi for excellence in every field, whether in sports or Education. He further added that such events will also be organised in near future to keep the energy of youths in right direction and in the field of excellence. |
