Shaheed Kamal Kishore cricket tournament organised under CAP

Reasi, Mar 21: District level cricket tournament organised by Reasi police to honour its martyr Kamal Kishore concluded at sport stadium Reasi in a mega event.
The tournament was organised under civic action programme of jammu and Kashmir police in which 16 team from all over the Reasi district participated. A total of 15 match played between the team in a knock out series in which the Final is played between Reasi Cricket Club and National cricket Club.
In the final match RCC wins the toss and decided to ball first. In first inning NCC set a target of 171 runs in 20 over which RCC failed to achieve in limited over game and NCC wins the match by 5 runs in the nail biting competition and clinched the SKKC tournament Cup. The final event held at sport stadium was witnessed by the large gathering of people especially youth of Reasi district. Parents of the martyr Kamal Kishore were the Chief Guest of the occasion who were facilitated by SSP Reasi Sh Amit Gupta. The event was also attended by ASP Reasi Master Popsy, DySP HQ Reasi Neeraj Padyar, DySP DAR Reasi Aijaz Ahamad and SHO Reasi Vijay sharma. SSP Reasi Sh Amit Gupta - JKPS while speaking on the occasion brief media about the whole series of the event and engagement of the youth in sports activities at District Reasi. He further added that Reasi Police is providing opportunities to every youth reside in every nook and corner of the district to take part in the events and channelise their energy in the right and progressive way. Reasi police is committed to engage the youth and taking every step to keep them away from immoral and illicit activities.
