Modi Govt making concerted efforts to alleviative problems of minorities: Kavinder | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 9: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta asserted that the central government under the realms of PM Narendra Modi is making concerted efforts to alleviate the problems and issues of minority communities. The BJP stalwart was addressing a gathering during an event organized as the part of Samajik Nyay Pakhwada (Social Justice Fortnight) in connection with fortnight celebrations of Party’s Foundation Day here on Saturday. The senior BJP leader said that the government at New Delhi led by BJP was the only dispensation to have worked for the minority welfare as all other governments befooled this section on one pretext or the other. He said that the testimony to this fact is that the Modi Government never discriminated with the minorities as every scheme and bounty meant for welfare of the people of the country was also valid for the minority communities and it never happened under the BJP regime led by PM Modi that a welfare scheme was envisaged excluding the minorities. “The minorities in Jammu and Kashmir are not only feeling safe under the Modi government but also enjoying the benefits of various developmental schemes, which has become reality for the first time in over 70 years,” he maintained. He said that BJP government at the Centre is working for every section of society. Later, BJP Minority Morcha President Ranjodh Singh Nalwa gave the account of the works undertaken by the Morcha and the achievements of the BJP government for the welfare of the minorities. He said that BJP is a disciplined political party which is people centric and never indulges in prejudice of any kind. Others present in the programme include Rekha Mahajan District President, Vinay Gupta, Santokh Singh, Riyaz Ahmad, Neeraj Puri,Nayan Gupta, Pushpinder Singh, Akash Chopra, Mohd Rafeek and Liaqat. |
