5 residential houses gutted in overnight blaze in Tulail | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Apr 11: At least five residential houses were gutted in a massive fire in Tulail Valley of north Kashmir's Bandipora district late on Monday night, officials said on Tuesday. Fire and Emergency officials said fire broke out at around 1.05am in a house at Tulail valley that engulfed other nearby houses. They said three two storie wooden houses were damaged severely while two others were gutted partially. Fire tenders were rushed to the spot from the nearby fire stations of Tulail and from long distance Dawar station to put off the flames. Police and local people also helped to put out the leaping flames before it could have spread to other adjacent houses. The cause of the fire is believed to be due to the heating "Bukhari", they added. However, there was no report of any loss of life or injury to any person, they said. |
