| DC Reasi conducts site visit to inspect progress of Water Supply Schemes taken up under JJM | | |  Early Times Report
REASI, May 2: Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Babila Rakwal today visited and verified the progress of water supply projects taken up under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) to ensure all the household in the district have access to safe and adequate drinking water facilities. At the outset, the DC took a detailed review of the physical and financial progress of works on Gran Brotrain and Talwara Water Supply Schemes (WSSs) being implemented under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in Reasi district. While majority of the works having been completed under JJM, the DC reviewed the progress of balance works on other sites. With regard to execution of work on Talwara, Gran Brotrain and in Reasi rural Retrofitting and Augmentation of Water Supply Scheme, the DC was apprised that pace of work on the project is in full swing, It was informed that more than 500 households would be covered under the project by providing them safe and adequate drinking water. |
