Doon International School, organizes capacity building programm

JAMMU, May 2: On 1st May,2023 Doon International School Jammu catalogued a Capacity-Building Seminar one of its kind, for the faculty members under the patronage of their parent branch, DIS Dehradun. The seminar was aided by the eminent and illustrious guest speaker from Mahattattva, Usha Pathania. The program focused on building the capacity, enhancing the life-skills, and empowering their workforce with innovative pedagogical practices. 102 facilitators of the organization took part in the convention. The seminar concentrated on developing and strengthening the skills, instincts, abilities, processes and resources that are imperative for progressive mentors to survive, adapt and thrive in a hyper-competitive world of today. It also engrossed the attendees how to build their behavioral, cognitive and inter-personal abilities that would enable them to succeed in various areas of life depicting an impactful personality equipped with abundant confidence and unfathomable zeal. The auditors minutely had the benefit of the live interaction with the entire staff of DIS Jammu and accumulated invaluable information. The Principal of DIS Jammu, Dr. Vikesh Kaur formally welcomed the guests and acquainted them with various accomplishments of the school since inception. She also expressed her sincere gratitude to the enablers for their admirable and creditable attempts in providing a regenerated vision into copious aspects of enhancing the competency of DIS teachers. The formal vote of thanks was proposed by the Vice-principal of the school, Dr. Sarita Moza Kaul. The workshop was followed by satisfying refreshments for the enablers and attendees. The seminar concluded with a group photograph after the felicitation of the guests and a lot of take away being ensured by all 100 plus fecilitators. Overall it was an enriching, enlightening, empowering and progressive experience for the faculty members of Doon International School, Jammu.
