JAMMU, June 3: GDC Sidhra proudly unveiled the first issue of the third volume of their College Newsletter, "DHANAK". The release event was graced by Dr. S.P. Saraswat, Nodal Principal of Jammu Division Colleges and Principal of Government College for Women, Parade Ground, Jammu. Dr. B.B. Anand, Principal of GDC Sidhra, expressed his immense joy and congratulated the Newsletter Committee on this milestone.
In his address, Dr. Anand highlighted the consistent progress and notable achievements of GDC Sidhra in various academic, non-academic, and capacity-building areas for both staff and students. The newsletter, titled "DHANAK," provides a vibrant and diverse overview of the campus happenings from August to November 2022. It showcases the students' involvement in curricular and co-curricular activities, illuminating the college's success and pride.
Despite facing limitations, the students have showcased their growth and left an indelible mark on the college's record. The compilation of this issue of the newsletter was made possible through the dedicated efforts of Prof. Deepa Kak, Convener and Editor of the Newsletter, along with Co-Editor Dr. Anshu Gupta. The active contributions and cooperation of Dr. Mehmood Ahmed, Prof. Shonima Malhotra, Dr. Satbir Kour, Prof. Pooja Sharma, and Prof. Rudrika Khajuria, members of the Newsletter Committee, were instrumental in its success. |
