Police seizes 21 vehicles, including 5 excavators for Illegal mining | | | Early Times Report
Samba, June 3: Samba Police, under the direction of SSP Benam Tosh, continues its crackdown on illegal mining activities in the district. In the latest operation, the police seized 21 additional vehicles, including 5 excavators, that were involved in illegal mining. The police teams, led by various station house officers (SHOs) and under the supervision of Deputy SP Garu Ram Bhardwaj, SDPO Bari Brahmana Rahul Nagar, and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary, conducted the raids at different locations in Samba district. The seized vehicles include JCBs, tippers, dumpers, and tractor trolleys. SSP Benam Tosh stated that a total of 77 vehicles have been seized in the last four months as part of the special drive against illegal mining. The police remain committed to curbing the illegal activities of the mining mafia and will continue their efforts until illegal mining is completely eradicated in the district. |
