Early Times Report JAMMU, June 21: A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) was filed by Advocate Sumit Nayyar, urging the respondents to develop and enhance tourist infrastructural facilities for the Patnitop-Mantalai-SudhMahadev region, which attracts a significant number of tourists throughout the year, both in summer and winter seasons. The PIL also called for prompt and effective measures to be taken in this regard. A Division Bench of the Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court, comprising Chief Justice N. Kotishwar Singh and Justice Moksha Khajuria Kazmi, heard Advocate Sumit Nayyar presenting the PIL, while Senior Additional Advocate General SS Nanda represented the Union Territory (UT). The bench granted a period of three weeks to file the latest status report on the matter. —JNF |
