Early Times Report JAMMU, June 24: Devender Singh Rana, a senior BJP leader, praised the collective efforts of society in complementing the government's initiatives to ensure essential services, particularly in the crucial health sector. During a ceremony held at Super-Specialty Hospital (SSH), Rana handed over a 1000 Ltr Capacity LPH Water Purification Plant for dialysis to the Principal of Government Medical College, Jammu. The water purification plant was provided under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by OSMOTECH, an RO manufacturing company, through their local partner, Dinesh Gupta, Managing Director of Globus Healthcare. Dr. Shashi Sudan, Principal of Government Medical College Jammu, Dr. Manoj Chalotra, Deputy Superintendent of SSH Hospital, and Ashwani Khajuria, Administrator of GMC Jammu, were present at the occasion. Rana expressed his belief that this gesture will greatly benefit kidney patients and their attendants at the hospital. The support and assistance from the community and corporations not only strengthen human values but also foster camaraderie among fellow human beings, he added. Highlighting the tremendous growth in the health sector in recent years, Rana praised the introduction of the Ayushman Scheme by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He emphasized that the scheme covers the entire population of Jammu and Kashmir, regardless of economic status, demonstrating the BJP's concern for the welfare of the common people. When asked about India's response to the pandemic, Rana elaborated on how the country converted the challenging situation into an opportunity to enhance health infrastructure. He credited the resolute leadership of the Prime Minister for inspiring scientists to develop indigenous vaccines that have provided protection against the disease, earning global admiration for India. Regarding the opposition's criticism of India, Rana expressed pity for their lack of perspective. While Prime Minister Modi builds a strong image for the country worldwide, a handful of power-hungry Indian elites work tirelessly to tarnish the nation's reputation, he lamented, stating that their efforts are destined to fail. Prominent BJP leaders, including Zorawar Singh, Som Nath Khajuria, Rajesh Bakshi, Sanjay Gupta, Ajay Gupta, and others, were also present at the ceremony. |
