Early Times Report JAMMU, June 25: Revised Content: Tawi Welfare Society, a dedicated organization committed to uplifting the underprivileged, organized a remarkable event at Apnavan Sure Chak. During the function, 100 deserving families from the local area were provided with essential supplies, including utensils and ration items such as lentils, sugar, nutri, salt, and rice. The esteemed chief guest, Vivek Kohli, Superintendent Engineer of Hydraulic Circle Jammu, graced the occasion with his presence. As a gesture of warm welcome, the society members presented a bouquet to the Chief Guest and expressed their gratitude by presenting him with a memento. Nand Kishor, a senior member of the society, delivered a heartfelt speech, highlighting the various initiatives undertaken by the organization for the betterment of the marginalized sections of society. He emphasized the society's motto, "Nar Sewa Narayan Sewa" (Service to Humanity is Service to the Divine). The Chief Guest lauded the efforts of the society, particularly their commitment to assisting those in need. The society members expressed their appreciation to the Chief Guest for addressing their long-standing request for a protective wall near the house of Ram Lal. The Chief Guest reassured them that the remaining work would be completed by the end of the year. Additionally, the society members presented some new demands, which the Chief Guest also pledged to address promptly.
