JAMMU, June 28: NSS Units at Govt College for Women, Parade Ground, Jammu, conducted a poster making competition on June 28, 2023. The event focused on the theme "Say No to Drug Abuse" and was organized under the guidance of NSS programme officers: Dr. Gurpreet Kour, Dr. Mohd. Majeed, and Dr. Pervaiz Ahmad. Around 50 NSS volunteers participated in the competition, creating impactful posters to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse. The Principal of the college, Dr. S. P. Sarswat, commended the participants and urged students to actively discourage drug abuse within their communities. Priya Choudhary (4th Semester) secured the first position, followed by Maimoona Khalid in second place and Ms. Shreya Anand (4th Semester) in third place. Certificates were distributed to the winners by the college Principal, concluding the program with a vote of thanks from Dr. Gurpreet Kour, NSS Programme Officer. |
