Police rescue 15 bovine animals, arrest transporter at Tawi bridge | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 4: In a commendable operation, the police party from Police Post (PP) Sidhra successfully intercepted an unknown individual on Tawi Bridge Sidhra while he was mercilessly and cruelly shifting 15 bovine animals towards Kashmir. The suspect, identified as Rashid Ali, son of Yoor Ali and a resident of Nikki Tawi in Jammu district, was apprehended during the incident. The police team, conducting a routine check at the bridge, noticed the suspect dragging the animals using tied ropes, without any valid permission or authorization. Shocked by the inhumane treatment of the animals, the officers immediately took action, rescuing the bovine animals from their distressing conditions. During questioning, the suspect revealed his identity as Rashid Ali and provided details of his residence. Acting swiftly, the police took cognizance of the situation, arresting Rashid Ali for his alleged involvement in the cruel transportation. A detailed Daily Diary (DD) extract has been sent to the Police Station (PS) Nagrota to initiate the process of lodging a First Information Report (FIR) against the accused.
