Early Times Report JAMMU, July 7: As part of its ongoing efforts to combat drug abuse, the J&K Police conducted a Drug Awareness programme in collaboration with the students of SR College of Competition, Gandhi Nagar Jammu. Shaheen Wahid, SP City South Jammu, emphasized the need for collective action against the growing threat of drugs, particularly among the youth. She highlighted that the J&K Police is actively engaged in both enforcing the law and raising awareness among various segments of society to address drug abuse. During the programme, students were urged to remain vigilant, actively participate in creating a drug-free society, and assist the police in combating drug trafficking. The event was attended by Sh. Parveen Sharma, Director, Shweta Saini, Office Coordinator, and other faculty members of the college. The initiative serves as a significant step towards fostering a safer and healthier environment for the community. |
