| 07 vehicles involved in illegal mining seized by Jammu Police | | |

Jammu, July 13: In a quest to stern the menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which police teams of PP Phallian Mandal, PP Pounichak and PS Gharota acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at a location in their respective area and seized 07 vehicles involved in illegal mining. Details of the vehicle seized are as under:
One Dumper bearing registration number JK02CS/3802, by PS Gharota
04 vehicles i.e One excavator bearing Chasis no. KNTPC282CNY733210, one dumper bearing registration no. JK02BX-4803, one tipper bearing without Registration no and One Tractor trolley bearing chasis no. Registration no. JK02CW-4683, by PP Phallian Mandal.
02 vehicles i.e one tractor trolley without Registration number and one dumper bearing Registration No JK02DC 4864 by Pouni Chak
The recoveries were made by SHO PS Gharota Inspr Joginder Singh Chib, I/C PP Phallian Mandal PSI Ajesh Singh Jamwal and I/C PP Pounichak PSI Nitish Khajuria in their respective jurisdiction.
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
The mining was done in violation of order of Hon'ble High Court of J&k. In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law Jammu Police has initiated strict action. |
