Early Times Report JAMMU, July 19: The District Administration of Doda organized the weekly Block Diwas program at various locations, including Panchayat Ghar Udrana B in Block Bhaderwah, Panchayat Gandow A in Block Jakyas, Panchayat Ghar Ganota in Subdivision Assar, and Panchayat Barshalla in Tehsil Thathri. Led by Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Mahajan, the outreach camps witnessed significant public participation, including members of Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs). During the program, individuals from diverse backgrounds raised grievances related to water and power supply augmentation, healthcare infrastructure improvement, teacher appointments in educational institutions, and road connectivity enhancement, among other important issues. The presiding officers, along with government officials, carefully listened to the concerns raised by the public and PRIs. They promptly directed the respective officers to compile a list of the grievances and work towards resolving them as quickly as possible. The program at Panchayat Ghar Udrana B, Block Bhaderwah, was chaired by BDC Chairperson Omi Chand and attended by ADC Bhaderwah, Ch. Dil Mir. Government officers present at the event provided essential services and addressed the grievances and demands of the public. Many issues were resolved on the spot, and the ADC assured the participants of prompt redressal for any remaining concerns. At the Block Diwas program in Panchayat Ghar Ganota, Subdivision Assar, Tehsildar Fareed Ahmed Sheikh presided over the event and resolved various issues and grievances with the assistance of officers and officials from relevant departments. The program saw the participation of officers from departments such as PHE, Forest, Floriculture, Horticulture, Agriculture, RDD, Fisheries, Revenue, and others. |
