JAMMU, July 25: The Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) has been organizing mesmerizing cultural evenings for the pilgrims of the Amarnath Yatra at Bhagwati Nagar daily. Under the guidance of Secretary Shri Bharat Singh, JKAS, the academy has been hosting devotional songs and dance programs since the commencement of the Amarnath Yatra this month. The audience has been enthralled by the performances presented by the talented artists of JKAACL. Over 400 artists have participated in these programs, captivating the hearts of approximately 20,000 pilgrims who have witnessed these soul-stirring performances since the beginning of July. In today's program, Ratan Lal Shugal and his group presented devotional songs dedicated to Lord Shiva, leaving the audience spellbound with their performance. Following this, Sanjeet Mehra and his group delivered a power-packed dance performance on Shiv songs, leading the audience to dance along in joyous celebration. Expressing their delight, one of the yatris, Raghunandan from Uttarakhand, shared, "We are enthralled by the program, and all our tiredness has disappeared with the soulful Bhajans of Bhole Baba." Another yatri from Gujarat appreciated the government's initiative in showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Jammu and Kashmir along with the devotional songs of Bam Bole. These devotional evenings have been jointly organized by JKAACL and the Directorate of Tourism Jammu. The program was skillfully conducted by Dilshad, adding to the overall success of the events.
